About European University of Lefke
It is a State Foundation university established by the Cyprus Science Foundation and started to operate in 1990. Since the first year of its establishment by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK), all its departments have been equivalent.
Our university is located in the Lefke Region, one of the heavenly corners of Cyprus with its natural and historical beauties, built on a hill overlooking the bay where the Mediterranean Sea looks another blue, with its calm and peaceful daily life and student-friendly people.
With its excellent infrastructure and technological equipment, LAU is the educational torch of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the west.
Our university, with its expert, distinguished and successful academic staff, aims to educate researchers and innovative individuals who have knowledge and experience in areas such as health, education, art and communication, who have mastered the talents and technology required by the information age.
In addition, our university plays an important role in helping students unleash their maximum potential and gain the ability to work professionally in a global world.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR ASSOCIATE AND UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
As a non-profit university, the European University of Lefke offers a wide range of scholarship opportunities that have become a great incentive for students.
The EUL has decided to grant scholarships starting from 70% that is offered exclusively to the international freshman students who choose to enrol to the University. Students need to apply to the International Office for the availability and the requirements of the scholarships.
Academic Performance Award
Undergraduate degree students who have studied at least two semesters at our university and have a term GPA of 3.50 and a cumulative CGPA of 3.00 and above are rewarded in the next academic semester within the framework of the scholarship regulations, depending on their success average.
Sports and Culture scholarships
Apart from the academic scholarships offered to students there are also sports & culture scholarships. These scholarships might be granted depending on students’ success in sports / culture field chosen, on students’ or team’s sports or culture achievements attained nationally and internationally (national & international competitions, tournaments, matches etc.).
Undergraduate Tuition Fee
- All undergraduate programs - €1,725 per year (including 70% discount, registration fee and 5% VAT).
English language teaching, Tourism Management, Communications and Public Relations - €1,150 euros per year (including 80% discount, registration fee and 5% VAT). - Pharmacy- €2,325 euros per year
- Dentistry - €4,125 euros per year
Masters Degree Tuition Fee
- Master’s degree program without Thesis- 4,140 $ for the whole program.
- Master’s degree program with Thesis- 4,200 $ for the whole program.
Doctoral (PhD) Programs Tuition Fee
- The tuition fee is $ 8,160 for 4-years PhD program
Most European university of lefke (EUL’s) students live in EUL’s residence halls, which are just walking distance away from the place of study.
The residence halls offer a safe and good value accommodation with fellow students and are great places to make instant friends. They are comfortable and peaceful and contribute to a safe environment.
The accommodation dormitories for students cost between 1,520 euro to 3,980 euro per academic year. These dormitories include a single plus, double plus, triple, triple with meals and a double plus with meals respectively.
